Project ID: FY20-5

The reduction of CO2 on Cu catalysts using renewable electricity is a promising method to produce high value chemicals. However, their absence could indicate that unlike the C1-C3 which are formed from the coupling/hydrogenation of *CO intermediates on Cu, the multi-carbon products may be formed through another pathway, not facilitated by Cu. We aim to develop electrocatalysts for converting CO2 into multi-carbon products.
