Chinese Academy of Sciences

Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) is the advocate of Liquid Sunshine economy. It is also one of the key technology drivers in China. CAS has many famous Research Institutes, such as Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics (DICP), which is leading the methanol to olefin (MTO) technology in China, and is particularly strong in catalysis and commercial scale process design. Another example is Shanghai Advanced Research Institute (SARI), which emphasizes on CO2 conversion to value added products. The Institute of Process Engineering (IPE) has a Key Lab of Green Process and Engineering.

University of Chinese Academy of Sciences

The University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS) is the most reputable graduate school of science and technology in China, under the direct leadership of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). Founded in 1978, UCAS is the first graduate school in China with the ratification of the State Council. Backed by more than 110 institutes of the CAS, which are located at more than 20 cities all over the country.

NCCR Catalysis

With the aim of promoting and strengthening Swiss catalysis research, the suchcat community welcomes collaboration and has strong links with academic and industrial partners throughout Switzerland and beyond. It is free to join. Please contact the suchcat Directors for further information about our current activities. It will develop a number of schemes for interaction including seminars, and visitor and affiliate researcher programs.

SUNERGY

SUNERGY unites and builds on two initiatives funded under Horizon 2020: SUNRISE and ENERGY-X. They were selected by the European Commission to prepare for FET Flagship status, a billion-euro programme which identifies “visionary, science-driven, large-scale research initiatives addressing grand scientific and technological challenges”.

NRF

The National Research Foundation (NRF), set up on 1 January 2006, is a department within the Prime Minister’s Office. The NRF sets the national direction for research and development (R&D) by developing policies, plans and strategies for research, innovation and enterprise. It also funds strategic initiatives and builds up R&D capabilities by nurturing research talent. The NRF aims to transform Singapore into a vibrant R&D hub that contributes towards a knowledge-intensive, innovative and entrepreneurial economy; and make Singapore a magnet for excellence in science and innovation.
